An exciting opportunity has arisen at our client school in Durham. Are you a passionate individual looking for a new role in January 2024? Are you interested in gaining teaching experience in a secondary school setting? We are recruiting a cover supervisor on a full-time basis.

Position: Cover Supervisor

Pay: (£77 to £90 per day)

Contract: Full-Time

Start Date: January 2024

Our client Secondary school is located within Durham with access from surrounding areas via the A1/A1(M) or the A68. For candidates who do not drive, there are many public transport links from the surrounding areas of The North East.

Requirements

  • Broad understanding of the National curriculum.
  • Great classroom management skills.
  • Degree level education is desirable but not essential.
  • Have a child only DBS on the update service. (Or be willing to apply for one).
  • Provide 2 professional references from recent employment.

Job Brief

  • Covering pre-planned lessons for KS3 and KS4 to a range of abilities.
  • Deliver lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.
  • Array of extracurricular activities to get involved with.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
