Are you a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in the education sector?

Are you looking to make some money following your university studies as well as support a possible future PGCE application?

Secondary schools in the Fallowfield/Didsbury areas are looking for a Cover Supervisor(s) to work within their secondary schools. This role requires a graduate who is confident and has any previous experience or working with young people or students, in a secondary school, primary school or youth work setting. The successful graduate will be motivated and able to converse, liaise and engage with people of all ages including pupils aged 11 - 16 and fellow colleagues and teachers.

Highlights of the cover supervisor role:

  • Get paid for delivering pre-set work in a secondary schools
  • Support and cover in a number of secondary schools in this area of South Manchester: September onwards
  • Pay range will be between £285 - 325 per week (depending on previous experience working in a secondary school)
  • Gain valuable experience working in a secondary school setting covering lessons as an unqualified teacher
  • Ideal role for a prospective future teacher

The role of a cover supervisor is to deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher. The role commands a certain level of flexibility as you may be delivering and supervising classes varying in size, ability and age. The successful cover supervisor could be covering a range of subjects giving you amazing experience for a future as a teacher.

The schools we work with are situated in the Fallowfield/Didsbury area making it very easy to access from Wilmslow Road and the area of Withington. Local bus routes make these schools easily accessible as well as those living nearby on the Metrolink tram line.

  • Secondary schools situated in the South Manchester areas of Fallowfield/Didsbury
  • Work alongside professional teachers, gaining unparalleled experience of working within a school

This role will suit recent graduates or those due to graduate imminently who have some experience of engaging with young adults aged 11 - 16.
