Cover Supervisor - Derby - Flexible Work

Are you intersted in becoming a teacher? 

Do you have experience working with secondary aged children and want to work more within a school setting over the next academic year?

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a secondary school in Derby who are looking to recruit a flexible cover supervisor to start from March 2021. The school are looking to recruit a cover supervisor on a casual basis to cover different subjects across key stage 3 and key stage 4 - no planning or marking. Ideally you will have recent experience working within schools and a proven track record of managing student behaviour. This role has the opportunity for a permanent contract and would be highly suitable for any NQT looking to broaden their experience in the interim of finding a NQT role.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for both: experienced teachers who are seeking a better work life balance and Graduates who are looking for classroom experience before beginning their career in teaching!

  • You will be able to cover both KS3 and KS4
  • You will become part of a school’s bubble – which will enable to you and the schools to keep safe during these unsure times
  • Building a good rapport with students is vital as this will aid your transition into schools
  • Behaviour management will be one of your strengths
  • Desired - An individual who holds a Degree Level Qualification or equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
