Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools, Darwen
Full-Time Role | Through Teaching Personnel

Are you looking to take your first steps into a career in education, or are you an experienced classroom practitioner ready for a new challenge? Teaching Personnel are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Darwen on a full-time basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the classroom teacher. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage the classroom environment, and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to lead a class independently.

  • A positive, resilient attitude and the ability to build good rapport with students.

  • Flexibility to adapt to different school environments.

  • Previous experience in a classroom setting, youth work, sports coaching, or similar is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
