COVER SUPERVISOR- FLEXIBLE HOURS- COVENTRY- SECONDARY SCHOOL

Do you have experience within school settings?

 

We are working with a mainstream secondary school based in Coventry (CV2), they are seeking a cover supervisor who can support with flexible working hours.

This position would be ideal for someone with children/family who cannot commit to a full time position!

 

What does a cover supervisor do?

- Stands in, in the absence of the main class teacher

- Deliver pre-set lessons to a range of year groups/subjects

- Manages the classes behaviour effectively and confidently

- Maintains a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

- Reports back any issues or positives to main class teachers/senior members of staff

 

Our ideal applicant will:

- have previous experience working as a cover supervisor or within a similar role in a school

- be confident with managing challenging classroom behaviour

- have confidence delivering a range of subjects, ensuring all pupils are engaged and on task

- have great communication skills

- leave classrooms in a tidy, respectable manner at the end of the day

- be professional, respectful and abide by schools policies and procedures at all times

 

Rate of Pay: £100-125 (per day, dependent upon previous experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
