Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education agency, are working in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school based in Coventry, CV2 to appoint a cover supervisor on a flexible basis.

Ideally, the school want a confident and experienced cover supervisor who can work flexible days each week, atleast twice a week, to support with covering classes in the absence of their class teachers.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

 - To deliver pre-set lessons to a range of year groups across multiple subjects

- To effectively manage behaviour of students and to command the classroom well

- To ensure all pupils are on task and being supported where possible

- To leave classrooms in a tidy and respectable manner

- Always follow schools policies and procedures

- Dress smart and school appropriate- first impressions count!

 

Our ideal applicant will:

- Have previous experience working with a UK school setting

- Have previously worked as a cover supervisor, HLTA or TA

- Have a genuine passion for education

- Be available to work atleast 2 days per week and be reliable when called upon for morning bookings

- Be confident, professional and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
