Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools
Corby
Full Time | Immediate Start
Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Corby area on a full-time basis with an immediate start.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and complete the work that has been set. You will help maintain a calm and focused classroom environment while following school behaviour policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons
• Support a positive learning environment within the school

The Ideal Candidate:
✔ Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students (11–16)
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Experience working with young people (education, coaching, tutoring, youth work etc.)
✔ A degree is desirable but not essential
✔ An interest in pursuing a career in education is beneficial

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
