Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our client secondary schools in Christchurch. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience, whether you’re an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or someone with experience working with young people.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students stay engaged

Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere

Supporting students where needed and fostering an inclusive environment

Following school policies and reporting any safeguarding concerns
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential – we provide full training!
✅ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✅ A positive, adaptable, and professional attitude
✅ Willingness to undertake safeguarding training (this can be provided)
✅ A genuine passion for education and student success
