About the Role

Are you a confident and motivated individual with experience working in schools?

We’re currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day and short-term supply basis across secondary schools in the CB11 area. This is a great opportunity to gain classroom experience, develop your skills, and enjoy flexible working hours in a supportive school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll:
• Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared work
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Encourage students to stay focused and engaged in their learning
• Adapt to different subjects and year groups across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Be available for both short-notice and pre-booked cover assignments


What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you are:
• An experienced Cover Supervisor or someone with previous classroom experience (e.g. HLTA, TA, Tutor, or Coach)
• Confident managing groups of secondary-age students
• Adaptable, reliable, and happy to work at short notice
• Passionate about supporting young people’s education and wellbeing
• Able to travel to schools in and around the CB11 area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
