As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will supervise whole classes across a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring that students remain engaged, focused and on task. While you will not be expected to deliver new content, you will facilitate pre-prepared lessons, encourage positive behaviour, manage classroom routines and provide support where needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, confidence in leading groups of young people and a genuine interest in supporting their academic and personal development. Responsibilities include:
• Supervising classes during the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pre-prepared work is completed.
• Managing student behaviour in line with school policies and promoting a positive learning environment.

• Liaising with teaching staff and senior leaders to report on student progress and classroom conduct.
• Supporting the wider school community through participation in duties, activities and enrichment programmes.
