Cover Supervisors Wanted – Bournemouth Schools

Are you looking to gain classroom experience, support students’ learning, or explore a career in teaching?
We are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Bournemouth.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students in their learning – no planning or marking required. Ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people.

What You’ll Need:

  • A passion for working with young people (age 11–16)

  • Confidence in leading a classroom

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

  • Relevant experience (youth work, coaching, tutoring, education etc.) is a plus

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
