Cover Supervisor- B49, Alcester- Flexible Hours

 

Are you wanting the flexibility of day-to-day work?

Do you have experience as a cover supervisor or do you feel confident in delivering pre-planned lessons within secondary schools?

 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school based in the Alcester area of Warwickshire, to appoint a cover supervisor on a flexible basis, as they need someone to rely on for day-to-day emergency cover.

 

Hours: Flexible

Rate of Pay: £100-130 (per day, dependent upon previous experience)

Location: B49, Alcester

ASAP/ January Start!

 

Ideal Person Specification:

- Previous experience working as a cover supervisor (desired but not essential)

- Previous experience working in some capacity within education and/or childcare

- Confident personality with strong behaviour management skills

- Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans

- Passionate about education

 

Responsibilities:

- Deliver pre-set lesson plans to a range of year groups within a mainstream secondary school (there is no planning and marking requirement!)

- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, keeping disruption to a minimum

- Ensure all planned work is delivered in an engaging manner & all pupils remain focused and on task

- Report any concerns regarding pupils to senior leaders within the school

- Be an approachable and friendly individual whilst remaining a professional boundary

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
