Job Opportunity: Experienced Cover Supervisor
Location: Accrington, Lancashire
Contract: Full-time, from after October half-term until the end of the academic year

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Accrington area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys working with young people and supporting their learning in a positive, engaging environment.

The Role:

  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Providing support and encouragement to help students achieve their potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within education.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Passionate about maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
