Job description

Cover Supervisor – Halifax

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team, supporting secondary schools across the Halifax area.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise whole classes during teacher absences
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Requirements:
✅ Previous experience working within UK schools is essential
✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
✅ A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
✅ Flexible, reliable, and committed to supporting young people’s education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
