Cover Supervisor / Unqualified Teaching – Wigan

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a confident and enthusiastic graduate who is considering a career in secondary teaching to work as a cover supervisor / unqualified teacher to decide if this is the career for you!
Teaching Personnel are the preferred supplier of unqualified teachers to this particular secondary school in Wigan, close to the area of Standish.
The secondary school in Wigan is seeking the support from an unqualified teacher ASAP for classroom supervision cover on short notice for reasons such as; short term teacher sickness, internal training days and time away for planning and marking.

Role and Responsibilities
- Covering lessons when the permanent class teacher is absent for reasons such as sickness and training
- Delivering pre-set work from the school to a class of students and ensuring they remain on task with this.
- Get a feel of what it would be like to be a secondary school teacher, covering a range of KS3 and KS4 lessons in the absence of the permanent teacher.
- Great opportunity to gain invaluable experience if considering a PGCE!
