General Cover Teacher / Cover Supervisor in Hexham

We are looking for FQT’s, ECT’s or Cover Supervisors who are looking for flexible working for one of our partnership schools in Hexham.

Job description; 

  • Asked to deliver pre-planned material to a classroom of up to 30 pupils in a variety of subjects
  • Be prepared to have full responsibility of the classroom
  • Ensuring that the student’s learning has minimal disruption
  • Focused on keeping the students engaged
  • Flexible and have a passion for education and learning
  • Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Competitive rates

We are looking for individuals who are punctual, reliable, and passionate about working in education. You will be responsible for motivating and encouraging KS3 and KS4 students, as well as communicating their progress.

Educators will be required to have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service prior to being place in a school, however, support with this can be offered during the registration process. Candidates applying should have excellent knowledge of policies including Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities.
