Cover Supervisor for Teesside.

Teaching Personnel are working alongside Secondary Schools in the Teesside area that require Cover Supervisors to join the school on a full time and part time basis to cover lessons when planned and unplanned absences arise. This is an ongoing position starting September 2019.

• Full time Cover Supervisor vacancy, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Earn up to £70 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities
• Working as a Cover Supervisor in large modern Secondary Schools in Teesside
• Further develop your CV and skill set through Teaching Personnel's CPD programme

The incoming Cover Supervisors will be joining welcoming and supportive teams throughout our partnership Secondary Schools across the Teesside area. All schools are easily accessible by either car or public transport. The incoming Cover Supervisor can benefit from excellent teaching and learning provisions as well as being offered excellent career development opportunities both within the school and through Teaching Personnel.

Working as a Cover Supervisor is a very rewarding role where you will step into the teacher's shoes for the day and deliver pre-set lesson plans when planned and unplanned absences arise. You will be required to assist the pupils in any individual needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related. This is an excellent opportunity for anybody seeking further experience in a secondary school setting as a Cover Supervisor before considering enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.

Teaching Personnel would like to hear from anybody with previous experience as a Cover Supervisor as well as those with transferable experience, such as those having worked as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker or similar.
