Cover Supervisor & Sports Support Assistant

Location: Secondary School, Cardiff

Pay: £110 - £120 per day (subject to degree/qualification or experience)

Hours/Contract: 08:30-15:30 / Flexible (Part-time and Full-time options available)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with welcoming secondary schools across Cardiff to recruit flexible, enthusiastic individuals for dual roles as Cover Supervisors and Sports Support Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, including English, Maths, Humanities, Science, PE, DT, Art, Computing, and MFL.
  • Supporting PE lessons, extracurricular activities, and after-school sports clubs.
  • Creating engaging, inclusive environments that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Building strong relationships with students and staff.

  • Minimum: Degree-level education or working towards a degree.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
