About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor and Intervention Lead to join our thriving secondary school team. This dual-role position plays a vital part in maintaining high-quality learning during teacher absence and providing targeted academic support to help students achieve their full potential. This is suitable for graduates that hold a degree in Maths, English or Science.
Key Responsibilities:
As Cover Supervisor:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning environment.
- Ensure all safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
As Intervention Lead:
- Plan and deliver small group and 1:1 interventions within one of the core subjects (Maths, English or Science, depending on your specialism)
- Track and monitor student progress, identifying those in need of additional support.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the SEND/Progress teams to close learning gaps.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A flexible, proactive attitude and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Degree in English, Maths or Science, or have a the ability to teach this up to GCSE level

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
