Location: Burnley
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Pay: Dependent on skills and experience 

We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team in an Alternative Provision setting in Burnley. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people who may not thrive in mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise whole classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Deliver lessons using work set by teaching staff

  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Support students to stay on task and engage with their learning

Requirements:

  • Confidence in leading a classroom across various subject areas

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • Previous experience in a school or alternative provision setting is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
