Flexible Cover Role for Students and Graduates!

Are you currently studying, or looking for part-time work to fit around your studies and lifestyle?

We are looking for Part Time Cover Supervisors to step in and cover lessons in the absence of the timetabled teacher, this is a fantastic introduction to teaching for those who are considering a PGCE…

 

Covering Schools across Cardiff.

Starting ASAP.

Pay: from £85/day.

Work flexibly, and locally, around your schedule.

 

This role will be ideal for candidates with 1 – 4 days/week availability, making it ideal to fit around your studies and lifestyle. You will receive CPD Training to support you in the role, as well as the opportunity to gain classroom exposure – essential for anyone considering a PGCE. Candidates with experience Coaching, Tutoring, Teaching, or working in an education setting, for example as a TA, would be excellent in this role.

 

Role Details:

  • · Cover lessons in the absence of the timetabled teacher and supervise the delivery of the cover work by effectively communicating the work set to students.
  • · Collect completed work after the lesson and return it to the appropriate teacher.
  • · Manage the behaviour of pupils and ensure a positive learning environment for all.
  • · Respond to any questions from pupils to the best of your ability (no specific subject knowledge is required).

 

Requirements:

  • Degree level education, or currently studying towards your degree (in any subject)
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS
  • EWC Registration
  • Access to your own vehicle, and driving license (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
