Math and English Intervention Teachers and Tutors required in Mansfield (NG20)!

MATHS & ENGLISH

FACE 2 FACE & ONLINE TUTORING

MANSFIELD

GBP20-25 PER HOUR

Teaching Personnel are working with the local authorities in Mansfield to assist in their recruitment of a Maths and English intervention tutor to support their learners that are currently without a school place.

The successful applicant must:

· Teachers must hold a relevant qualification, such as QTS of an Overseas Teaching qualification for Maths or English.

· Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills are paramount)

· Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy as well as being patient and confident when working with children.

· Have experience or have a desire to work with students in the home.

Responsibilities include:

· Deliver literacy and numeracy intervention programs to individuals.

· Provide weekly feedback.

· Assist in the development of suitable intervention material.

· Keep a log on students who undertake intervention and assist on the recording and reporting procedures.

· Support exam revision sessions as required.

· To plan and prepare 1-2-1 lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
