Part time tutoring opportunitites

With the launch of the National Tutoring Programme in November, and additional funds alocated to schools for catch up tuition, there will be many opportunitties to become involved in 1:1 and small group tuition across our client schools in the area. With the increased demand, we are looking to recruit tutors who have the passion for education and the knowledge to be able to provide bespoke tutoring sessions to a diverse range of students, all fitting around your avilability.

Tuition is diverse and we currently provide a number of packages to schools which include:

  • 1:1 tuition delivered in school, in pupils homes, or online
  • In school revision sessions to small groups of pupils
  • After school and weekedn 1:1 tuition in pupils homes/online
  • Small group intervention sessions during school time

Do you qualify to deliver tuition seesions?

We are looking for educators who are able to offer a few hours a week at minimum, and who are confident in delivering material to students on a 1:1 or small group basis. Our tutors ae currently a mixture of:

  • Qualified Teachers
  • Recent core subject graduates
  • Final Year University Students
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistants with excellent curricular knowledge

Currently, as a tutor with Teaching Personnel you will have free acces to our CPD tuition course, comprising of six modules providing up to 36 guided learning hours on:

1.            The Tutor Role

2.            Pedagogy and Practice

3.            Effective Intervention

4.            Curriculum and Resources

5.            Face to Face Tuition

6.            Remote Tuition

Of course, the process of becoming a registered tutor with us will include usual education vetting checks including ensuring you have a current and valid DBS, reference checks and proof or right to work. To begin the vetting process, please submit your CV today and one of our team will be in touch.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
