Core Subject Graduates – Durham Secondary Schools

Immediate start, full time and part time opportunities available.

Are you a Maths, English or Science graduate considering teacher training in the future? Want hands on classroom experience before starting a PGCE or Teach First course in September?

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Core Subject Graduates to work in Durham secondary schools, providing invaluable experience ahead of teacher training. This is paid school based work offering excellent preparation for PGCE and teacher training routes.

What you might be doing:

  • 1:1 and small group intervention in your subject area
  • Supporting pupils ahead of key exams
  • Assisting in lessons and covering classes when required
  • Supporting departmental planning and marking

This is ideal for graduates looking to build confidence, classroom presence, and practical experience before committing to formal teacher training.

Contract: Full time or part time
Start: Immediate
Location: Durham secondary schools
