Construction or Multi-Trades Teacher

We are looking for a Multi-Trades instructor in Portsmouth area

We are looking for a multi-trades instructor to work with SEMH pupils at a specialist school in Portsmouth.

Job Purpose:

The requirements of the job will require Teachers to work with secondary aged pupils at various levels, including 1:1's and small group basis, you will be responsible for co-ordinating, designing, delivering and developing lessons of study. You don't necessarily need teaching experience, but may have in the past trained or taught apprentices or trainee-tradesman which would be transferable into this role. The age group you will be working with would be 14 - 16 year old's.

This school has an amazing construction and woodworks area.

• Motivated & patience when working with children from vulnerable backgrounds
• Remain positive when working with children with difficult behaviour 
• Different learning styles and approaches
• Comfortable working in an SEMH setting
• Outgoing personality

The teaching role is a full time position operating between 8.30am and 3.30pm.
