Construction Manager

Teaching Personnel are working along side an alternative provision that supports students who present with SEMH and ASC.

About the Provision:

The Provision offers support to students who are not able to attend a mainstream school due to a variety of reason (including, exclusion, anxiety, SEMH, challenging behaviour or SEN needs, ASC, ADHD and MLD). The provision supports students from 5 to 18 years of age, and offers them a variety of vocational and academic education, so they can thrive in their education and achieve their own personal goals. The provision offers a variety of groups work and 1:1 support.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a construction instructor/ Teacher with the following experience:

• Relevant and recognised construction qualifications
• Ability to communicate calmly and in an understanding demeanour 
• Preferably experience supporting individuals who present with SEMH and ASC
• Available full time
• Ideally completed CPD courses (including Team Teach, Autism Awareness ect)
• Excellent References from past employment
• Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
• Able to confidently lead a class of up to 6 students
• Full driving license with business insurance 
• Experience leading and managing a Team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
