Computer Science Teacher required for a secondary school in the Stratford area (£28,000 - £45,000)

The School

A School in the Stratford area is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join their successful history department. The school was rated "good" by Ofsted in all categories and are currently recruiting for September. The school boasts a fantastic behaviour policy, creating an environment where both students and teachers enjoy learning and teaching. More information;

The Role

The school's successful Computer Science department is seeking a Computer Science teacher to work full-time. You will have outstanding qualifications and experience, whilst being able to educate your students to a level where they are achieving the outstanding results the school is renowned for. This role is perfect for an established Computer Science Teacher, seeking a new challenge and work in an ideal teaching environment.

Requirements

  • Possess a "child only" DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (£44).
  • Ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE)
  • Ideally have a degree in Computer Science or similar subject.
  • Have experience as a Computer Science teacher to a class of 30 at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Have a passion for teaching Computer Science and the ability to educate and motivate pupils so that they achieve their full potential in the subject.
