Computer Science teacher

- Full-time Computer Science Teaching position
- Teaching pupils aged 11-16 at both KS3 and GCSE level
- Paid in line with MPS/UPS dependent on experience.
- Progression opportunities available.
Due to re-structuring within the ICT department, the Head teacher of our client school is seeking to appoint a teacher of Computer Science who has a proven track record of raising attainment in their subject. Whilst this is a temporary post in the first instance there will also be an opportunity for further employment if you are successful over the initial temporary period.
This is an exciting time to join this school that has continued to go from strength to strength and is now pushing towards an Ofsted ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ status. The school are committed to raising the standard of teaching throughout the school, it is therefore important that newly appointed teachers share the same vision and value.
This secondary school is located on the outskirts of Leigh town centre making it accessible for those on public transport also. It is easily accessible from both the surrounding areas of Bolton and Wigan respectively via the A579.
