Computer Science teacher – Maternity cover
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Computer Science teacher for a maternity cover starting after Easter. The largely improving school are thriving to obtain an OFSTED “Outstanding” in their next expectation and need someone who can follow their ambition.
The large secondary school based in Middlesbrough require the successful candidate to work on a full-time basis teaching the curriculum to KS3/KS4. Teaching the national curriculum, you will need to plan lessons in line with the national objectives and must keep up to date with developments in your subject area. As part of your role, you will be required to attend parents evenings, as well as participating in the training sessions with the school.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Subject Specialism in Computer Science
- Recent experience teaching the secondary curriculum
- A Valid Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service or will to apply for one (Teaching Personnel can offer support in your application)
- Available full time from Easter
Teaching Personnel is able to offer competitive rates on pay, in line with the role the school is offering and with your experience. You can expect to be paid weekly on PAYE.
