An exceptional secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their highly successful faculty from September. Role: Teacher of Computer Science
Area: Nottingham
Salary: MPS/UPS Dependent on experience
Start: September
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and dynamic Computer Science lessons to students at various levels, ranging from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

- Foster a love for Computer Science by utilizing innovative teaching methods and incorporating real-world applications into the curriculum.

- Effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic growth.

- Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development and achievement.

- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to design and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives.

- Keep up to date with the latest developments in Computer Science and educational practices, and integrate them into teaching methodologies.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification in Computer Science.

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desirable.

- Proven experience in teaching Computer Science to students of various abilities, preferably in a secondary school setting.

- A passion for Computer Science and the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.

- Excellent subject knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the Computer Science curriculum.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain high expectations for all learners.

- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.

- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
