Currently, we a providing support staff for schools in the Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Chichester and Fareham areas with the demand for Teaching Assistants increasing. A typical Teaching Assistants day consists of supporting the class teacher through core subjects, generally working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with those who are finding it difficult to focus and achieve their target grades. If you have subject specialism the school may utilise you in those subjects, particularly if it is English, Maths or Science.

Registering with Teaching Personnel can be quick if you are determined to succeed. We require you to have a child workforce DBS registered on the update service and can support your application if you do not currently have one. You will meet one of our recruitment consultants who will find out your strengths and be able to talk you through the schools in your area and the kind of work you could expect to receive.
