Are you a post-grad or under-grad student looking for work?

Are you considering a career in education and was paid experience on either long-term or short-term placements?

We can help you find roles at schools local to you as a classroom/ cover supervisor. 

Desirable courses include BA Hons – Children Schools and Families, BA Hons – Education and Early Years, BA Hons – Psychology, BA Hons – Counselling, BA Hons – English, BA Hons – Mathematics and BA Hons in Sports Coaching.

An ideal applicant will be flexible, driven, proactive and open to work with all Key Stages to support students with a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.

Job Details:

  • Flexible Day-to-day work
  • up to £85 a day - paid weekly 
  • ASAP start date
  • Secondary schools located in Wigan and the surrounding areas

As a Classroom Supervisor you will be responsible for managing and teaching pupils when the main class teacher is off and absent from the class. You be given a lesson plan and be instructed to go to each lesson and ensure learning is continuing.

Duties may include:

  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Delivering a lesson plan that has been given to you
  • Ensuring all work is completed by the students
  • Covering a variety of lessons e.g.: English, Maths, Science, Art, IT, Performing Arts

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
