Classroom Supervisor

As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of teaching staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone considering a career in education, or for experienced classroom professionals looking for a new challenge.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising students during the short-term absence of teachers

• Delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring students stay on task

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies

• Assisting with general administrative duties as required

• Providing support to departments and staff as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Confident, adaptable, and approachable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong classroom management abilities

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting (preferred but not essential)

• A genuine interest in working with young people

• A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential

Enhanced DBS check required (can be arranged if not currently held)
