Classroom Assistant
Job description
We are recruiting a committed Classroom Teaching Assistant to support learners aged 16 to 18 within a specialist secondary setting.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start, ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people at a key stage of their education.
Working hours: 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your Responsibilities

Provide classroom-based support to learners during lessons

Encourage engagement, confidence and independence

Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery and preparation

Build positive, professional relationships with learners and colleagues
What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, particularly supporting learners with SEN
-
Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
-
A full UK driving licence is essential due to the school’s location

Reliable, patient and enthusiastic approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
