Teaching Personnel are working closely with a SEN provision that is based in the Brighton & Hove area. The school support both primary and secondary pupils who have the following needs: Autism, ADHD and PMLD. The school are now looking for a Child Mentor who can working on a 1:1 basis with the pupils who attend the school.

About the role:

The chosen Child Mentor will be expected to work 1:1 and in small groups with the pupils who attend this school. You will be supporting the pupils primarily in the classroom but also in-between lessons as well as on school outings. You will be supporting the pupils academically and during physical education, most importantly you will be building rapport with the pupils and will become a role model for them.

About the school:

The provision caters for pupils between the ages of 6-16 years, all pupils will have EHCP’s (Educational, Health, Care, Plans). The school have a wonderful curriculum that the pupils all enjoy and benefit from, as well as spacious ground and new facilities!

Additional Information:

Travel: Car/Bus

Hours: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

Pay: £420 - £450 per week

Availability: Monday – Friday (Full Time)

DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS

Location: Brighton & Hove

Experience: ASC, ADHD, PMLD
