Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a great Chemistry teacher to cover maternity within the Science department of a reputable secondary school in Sunderland. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted, the school would like to employ an enthusiastic, creative individual who will lead pupils to success in their Chemistry studies.

OVERVIEW

• The role commences after May half-term
• Delivering Chemistry curriculum to KS3-5, though the role will also entail delivering general Science lessons to KS3
• Opportunity to work on a full-time basis
• Evaluating class work against criteria set by exam board, creating a plan-of-action to ensure the continued progression of all students
• Fantastic rates of pay-£600-800 a week
• Possibility of being offered a fixed-term contract (at the discretion of the school)
• Ability to demonstrate a variation of teaching skills, showing conscientiousness towards the individual learning needs of students
