Chemistry Teacher

If you are looking for a new challenge at one of our wonderful client secondary schools in Milton Keynes, then this role may be a fantastic opportunity for you.

We are supporting a popular and oversubscribed Secondary school in the Milton Keynes area for a Chemistry Teacher to join them from September.

This role will commence September 2021 and be confirmed work until December 2021, with the possibility of extension beyond this term. 

This is one of the leading departments in a successful school. Pupils enjoy Science, both for the care they receive and for the attention paid to planning for their learning which enhances their experience of the subject. The Science department is committed to providing excellent opportunities for pupil including opportunities to study Science in the Sixth Form. Increasing numbers of students are studying Sciences at A-Level and are two groups each of Biology, Chemistry and one for Physics in Year 12. In addition, vocational subjects are offered in the sixth form in the form of BTEC Applied Science (Diploma and Extended Certificate) and a Level 2 Science Bridging Qualification.

Also, something to be praised is their Ofsted full inspection grade of good.

The Science department follow the AQA specification for GCSE and A Level.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
