Chesterfield based school seeking Chemistry Teacher - Post-Easter Start
A Chemistry vacancy has emerged at a Chesterfield based school, with the position available immediately after the forthcoming Easter holidays.
- Heavy emphasis on achievement and academic excellence
- Ideal opportunity to join a high achieving school; most improved establishment within the Chesterfield area
- Vacancy open to both NQT's and experienced staff
This magnificent educational establishment are actively seeking to continue delivering top-quality results, following a series of impressive exam performances in recent years. This is exemplified in the school mission statement, with the Head Teacher indicating: "We consistently aim to accomplish a mission based on dignity and excellence; academic enhancement is at the core of our business."
Latest academic statistics have reflected this positive outlook, with 61.6% of students achieving 5A*-C in core subjects English and Maths, surpassing the national average figure of 56.9%. Following a recent OFSTED inspection, assessors concluded that: "Students show pride in their school and behaviour is good, sometimes outstanding. Achievement is accelerating, with senior leaders and governors possessing an accurate understanding of school performance."
This is an outstanding opportunity for teachers of all ages to immerse themselves in a positive working environment and work with students who are receptive to learning. Applicants for this position must be in receipt of Qualified Teacher Status; applications from both NQT's and more experienced teachers are equally recognised by the school for this post.
If you would like to apply for this position please contact David Wild at the Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel Sheffield.
