Job Title: Chemistry Teacher

Salary: £140–£220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to work in one of our partner secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Prepare students for GCSE examinations
-
Work collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff
-
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Specialism in Chemistry or Science
-
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting preferred
-
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
