Catering Assistant required at Primary School

A Primary school in Darlington has approached Teaching Personnel to acquire a Catering Assistant to support the Catering staff currently in school.

The candidate should have be motivated, have relevant experience and have a dedicated approach to school objectives. Due to begin at the end of January, the role will be 20 hours a week Monday to Friday until the end of July 2018.

Duties for the role would be

DUTIES:

1. Basic preparation of all food and beverages.
2. Simple cooking tasks.
3. Serving of meals.
4. General kitchen and dining room duties.
5. The cleaning of the kitchen, dining areas and associated equipment.
6. Put out/away dining room furniture.
7. Set tables with cutlery/beakers as required.
8. Work in a manner that complies with all current legislative requirements.
9. Undertake training re paperwork required for ordering, stock-taking etc in the event of the need to cover for the absence of the cook.

10. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post
