Children's Support Worker required in The New Forest

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a SEN school in Lymington that cater for young people between the ages of 7-19 with Aspergers and associated complex needs. Set in four acres of New Forest countryside, this special needs school have on site residential facilities for children and young people.

Working as a Children's Support Worker, your job will involve enabling young people to develop and make progress by providing physical, emotional and nurturing support. The position involves working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that makes the health, safety, care and welfare of the young people a priority.

We are looking for flexible and adaptable applicants to work on a permanent basis.

To be successful in this role you will be a strong team player, confident, motivated and well organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you'll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. Childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.

It would be beneficial for you to have experience working with children or adults with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
