Calling all retired teachers
We are looking for all retired secondary teachers who are looking to continue to help their local community by helping us to cover staff absence in local schools across Hampshire and Dorset. The further you are able to travel the more work we will be able to offer you!
Teaching Personnel work with the majority of secondary schools in the area on a daily basis aiding schools with high quality staff to fill absence of staff but we need your help to ensure that all pupils needs are met!
We are looking for teachers for short notice bookings, to help fill course cover and sickness. Short term placements of up to a week for planned absence. Tuition and intervention with small groups of students who are not meeting the correct level of attainment and need that extra push to achieve.
If this is something you would be interested in on an Ad-Hoc basis get in touch to schedule a meeting to discuss the work we do with schools in more detail.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
