Business Teacher in Trowbridge

Teaching Personnel has recently started working with a very popular secondary school in Trowbridge. If you live in Bristol and the thought of travelling to Trowbridge every day scares you, don't fear! Trowbridge is so easy to get to via train and the school is located next to the train station. This school is looking for a Business Teacher to start in September on a part-time basis (0.6). This will be for a least one term but possibly/ likely more depending how you get on at the school.

Based in the heart of Trowbridge this historic school is known for its high achievement, great leadership and good student behaviour. Its latest OFSTED rated the school as GOOD and had this to say:

"Relationships are very strong across the school and particularly so in lessons. There is a good level of respect with students willingly complying with their teachers".

You will need:

  • Ideally you will need to hold QTS and have taught Business Studies for at least two years. However, good experience as an FE, college teacher or lecturer will be considered
  • Have taught Business up to Year 13, whether this is A-Level or BTEC (ideally both)
  • Excellent subject knowledge
  • Strong behaviour management as there will be low level disruptive behaviour
