Business Studies Teacher – Secondary Education

Location: Northampton and surrounding areas.
Start Date: 01st December 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Business Studies Teachers to join our network of secondary schools. Whether you're an experienced educator or a newly qualified teacher (ECT), we want to hear from you.


About the Role:

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the world of business, economics, and entrepreneurship through engaging, real-world lessons. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to plan and deliver high-quality instruction, assess student progress, and contribute to a thriving learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and effective Business Studies lessons.

  • Foster students’ understanding of business concepts, finance, and enterprise.

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school goals and initiatives.

  • Contribute to school careers and enterprise programmes.


What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS or QTLS certification (PGCE or equivalent essential).

  • A strong passion for teaching Business Studies.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students.

  • Open to Early Career Teachers (NQTs/ECTs).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
