Business Studies Teacher needed, Chichester, part time, could go Perm for the right Candidate

Our Partner School is looking to appoint a part time Teacher of Business Studies to support at KS4 and 5. The School is an attractive 'Good' graded Secondary School located close to the Cathedral City of Chichester. The School enjoys excellent trnsport links by road and rail, with good local amenities. The cohort are vibrant and mixed, and the School boasts a fully inclusive ethos.

The department and the role...

...would suit either an NQT or more experienced colleague as appointments will be made on merit. The sucessful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies curriculum at KS4 & 5, taking on the whole Teacher role including pastoral responsibilities across a Tutor/House group. Business Studies is a popular Subject at the School, and sits within the wider STEM faculty. The Department itself is supportive and enjoys excellent leadership, on its way to 'Outstanding' and continually improving results year on year. This commitment to improving is at the core of the Departments and Schools approach and Candidates must be willing to contribute fully to it. The ability to teach, or interest in teaching, a second subject would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite.

The succesful candidate:

  • Will be a KS4 & 5 experienced, Specialist Business Teacher, with a track record of results 
  • Should be suitably qualified with UK QTS or comparable overseas qualification
  • Will be knowledgable and passionate in their specialism, and be able to enthuse Students
  • Should have expeerience in teaching current (UK) Business curriculum
  • Will benefit from outstanding CPD and career opportunities if appointed
