I am currently recruiting on behalf of a successful secondary school in High Wycombe who require a Business Studies and ICT Teacher as soon as possible. Applications welcome from both an experienced Business Studies and ICT Teacher and a Newly Qualified Teacher.

The successful candidate will be pro-active and self-motivated. You should be an innovative teacher of Business Studies and ICT with the ability to prepare lessons that ensure progression for high-achieving students that like their ability to be stretched.

About the School:

The Business Studies department introduces pupils to the dynamics of how a business is set up and organised. It enables individuals to enhance their ability to enter the world of work within a wide range of business organisations. The schools courses also provide valuable opportunities to develop key skills such as ICT, Maths, team working and communication, as well as developing confidence and inter-personal skills. A large number of students who take Business Studies/Economics/Financial Studies in the Sixth Form go on to study within higher education institutions or start Higher Level Apprenticeships.

Essential Requirements:

  • UK QTS
  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree in Business Studies
  • Proven experience of teaching Business Studies to Key Stages 3 - 5
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Applicable teaching references
  • Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
