Business/ICT Teacher

A school in Cheshire East is looking for an experienced Business and ICT teacher to join the teaching staff on a temporary basis. It is expected that the required applicant will hold:

• QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
• A degree (preferably in  Business/ICT or a related subject)
• A proven track record in the delivery of both Business across KS3 and KS4.

As a member  of the teaching staff, it is essential that the required applicant will:

• Successfully differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN, as well as those requiring EAL support.
• Deliver school curriculum, as well as ensure that tasks for homeowrk are relevant and beneficial to the overall progress/attainment of students. 
• Ensure that students are adhering to school policy, as well as successfully managing behaviour expectations.
• Work as part of a team, in ensuring that lesson delivery and curriculum is adequate in meeting the needs of students.
• Be able to work with pupils on both a group and individual basis.
• Be able to implement unique strategies, that are designed to ensure that pupils are able to remain engaged throughout the lesson.

The role will begin in September 2020. 

The applicant will be able to receive:

• Regular training, and continuous personal development, with regards to day to day issues such as safeguarding.
• Invaluable secondary school experience, teaching children across a broad range of ages and abilities.

The school’s location:

• There are multiple public transport links within close proximity of the school itself.
• There are numerous motorway links also close by.

Pay: GBP24,373 and GBP40,490 per year, based on previous experience.
