A school in Burnley, who are working exclusively with Teaching Personnel, have asked the agency to push local recruitment in order to meet their high demand for supply teachers. The school are a larger than average Primary, with a variety of needs including children from; socially deprived backgrounds; higher and lower than age expected levels; special educational needs; language and communication levels. On an average week, the school have been known to have more than three supply teachers and so the demand for quality practitioners who can work across a range of year groups is high. The Head teacher is keen to work exclusively with Teaching Personnel as for the last four years, we have provided high quality and specialist year grouped teachers who are committed to working hard and moving the children on further in their academic and social development.

The school is currently graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted and is a 1 form Primary school. With this there is a number of experienced teachers who can help with planning and resources ready for the supply day. It is common for the absent teachers to leave planned work, however, on the morning this isn't always possible.

In order for you to work in school, you must be fully vetted by Teaching Personnel, hold a DBS with the update service and be qualified with Qualified Teacher Status.
