Teaching Personnel work closely with a Burnley based School which caters for pupils across KS1/2 who have a range of needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School is a short stay School which provides education and support for primary aged pupils with the view to re-integrate them into mainstream education. The School is based centrally in the Burnley area and caters for pupils with additional learning needs. Candidates applying for this role must have experience supporting children who display challenging behaviours.
The School are hoping to appoint a full time member of staff from September, however, the role may start on more of an ad-hoc basis and candidates are expected to provide both 1:1 and small group intervention for pupils. The pupils in School may display challenging behaviours and therefore, candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be favoured but this is not essential.
The successful candidate for this role will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 68 per day
- Long term position available
- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties and SEN
