Biology – Teacher Rotherham
Teacher Science to Key Stage 4 & Biology to Key Stage 5
Pay up to GBP800 per week, dependent upon experience
Covering long-term absence, potentially until July 2020
A large Academy in Rotherham are looking to recruit a Fully Qualified Science Teacher, specialising in Biology, to join their successful and improving department to start immediately, this role is to cover a long-term absence and could potentially continue until the end of the academic year.
The school provides a high quality of teaching that excites, motivates and challenges all pupils and would expect the successful candidate to continue this ethos. They offer a broad and balanced curriculum where each student is equally valued and their abilities are developed to the fullest extent. They encourage their pupils to develop high levels of commitment and co-operation and expect all members of staff to provide maximum opportunities for learning and progression within a secure and safe environment.
The schools educational philosophy is based strongly on a partnership where home, school, parish and the wider community work closely together to provide maximum support for the educational process and for the young people in our care.
To be considered for this role you will be required to:
- Hold UK recognised QTS.
- Provide evidence of recent experience teaching GCSE Science.
- Be able to commit to the role until the end of the academic year
- Provide recent references covering your latest teaching positions.
- Have excellent subject knowledge in Biology
- Committed to safeguarding
